Car rental at Salalah Airport (SLL)
Car rental at Salalah Airport: we meet you at arrivals, free shuttle to our office 10 min away, 4x4s and 7-seaters from OMR 15/day. No card to request.
Where the car actually is
Our cars are not parked inside the terminal. They are at our Salalah office, about ten minutes' drive from Salalah Airport (SLL). When you land, a free shuttle meets you and takes you to the car. We are telling you this up front because it is the first question people ask on WhatsApp, and because it changes how you plan the first half hour of your trip.
How the handover works
1. Give us your flight number
Add it to your request. We track the flight, so a delay does not cost you the car or the shuttle.
2. Clear arrivals
Salalah Airport has one terminal and one arrivals hall. Immigration and bags are usually quick outside Eid and August. Buy a SIM or draw cash in the hall if you need to.
3. Meet the shuttle
Our driver waits at arrivals with your name. The ride to the office is about ten minutes. If you cannot find the driver, message +968 99224286.
4. Paperwork and walk-round
At the office we check your licence, passport or ID, and the card in the driver's name for the OMR 100 deposit. We walk round the car together and note its condition on the agreement. Allow 15 to 20 minutes.
Total time from leaving the terminal to driving away: roughly 30 to 40 minutes.
Hours and out-of-hours arrivals
Salalah office hours: by appointment — we confirm the time on WhatsApp.
Normal handover hours are 08:00 to 18:00. Many flights into Salalah land late in the evening or before dawn. We still meet them. An out-of-hours handover fee of OMR 50 per vehicle applies outside 08:00 to 18:00, and it is shown on your quote before you confirm. Tell us the arrival time when you request so that the shuttle and the paperwork are ready.
Returning the car at the airport
Return the car to the Salalah office and the shuttle takes you to the terminal. Allow an extra 30 minutes on top of the time you would normally arrive at the airport. Fuel policy: return the car with the same fuel level you collected it with. The deposit is released after return.
Eid and khareef peaks
Two periods fill the airport and our fleet. The first is the three or four days before Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, when families fly in from Muscat and the Gulf. The second is late July and August, the heart of khareef. In both, send your request as early as you can. If your dates are gone, we offer the nearest free dates, another car class, or a pickup in Muscat with the drive down. Minimum rental is 4 days all year.
Why an office and not a desk
The desks inside the terminal belong to international brands. We are a local operator with one shared fleet across Salalah, Muscat and the UAE, and our office is where that fleet lives. The trade-off is a ten-minute shuttle. In return you request without a card, you deal with a team on WhatsApp who know the Jebel Samhan road, and the deposit is OMR 100 on every car.
Documents to bring
- Driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit if you are not an Oman resident.
- Passport or national ID.
- A card in the driver's name for the OMR 100 security deposit.
- Minimum driver age: 23.
